The Countdown Has Begun! Have You Bought Your Kids a Valentine’s Gift?

The countdown has begun! We’re T-5 days until the big V-Day! Are you ready? I hope you all are doing better than I am this year because I’ve done it again – I’ve slacked off until last minute and forgot to go shopping for Valentine’s Day gifts!

This year, I’m not only thinking about buying Michael something for Valentine’s Day, but I’m also thinking of what to get the kids! In the past, I have done teddy bears, but with Brantley finding out he’s allergic to dust mites, I’m thinking teddy bears aren’t the best V-Day gifts in 2020. Plus, we have a million teddy bears already and I think Cayden may be too old for stuffed animals?!

So this year, I’m definitely thinking of a million other, more logical things to buy the kids for Valentines. Thankfully, Amazon is always a go-to for my last minute shopping! With millions of products delivered in just 1-day and million others delivered in 2-days, I really can’t go wrong ordering a gift for the kids for Valentine’s on it. Thank you, Amazon, for allowing me to be my usual slacker-self, ha!

Valentine’s Gift Ideas for the Kids

Books

You can never go wrong with gifting the kids a book for Valentine’s Day.  Here are some of my most favorite ones:

Don’t see a book your child will love? Amazon has hundreds of other great ones, go HERE to see them.

Slime Kits

What kid doesn’t love slime? It’s fun, it’s gooey and it’s everywhere! These slime kits from Amazon are definitely ones kids will love on Valentine’s Day.

Amazon STEM Club Subscription Box

I haven’t heard of the Amazon STEM Club Toy Subscription Box until recently, but it’s an amazing box for kids ages 3-13! For one low price, every month, your kids get a highly-rated STEM toy for a fun STEM experience.

Arts & Crafts

Arts & crafts are a great logical gift idea for kids on Valentine’s Day. Not only do most kids love to draw and make stuff, but it also encourages your children to use less screen time. Here are some of my favorite arts and crafts sets from Amazon:

While I never go overboard for Valentine’s Day, one of these simple, logical gifts for the kids is a great way to say, ‘I love you!”
