Living with toddlers is one of the best things I’ve ever experienced, but, at times, it can be quite stressful. As a stay at home mom, the stress almost never ends. From being the family banker, to the family referee, life with toddlers can be extremely crazy. I am so fortunate that I am able to be a stay-at-home mom, but I would be lying if I said it was easy.
If you are living in a house full of toddlers, I hope these tips will help you! I personally use these relaxation techniques and they have worked wonders in my life.

I am a big coffee drinker, but, more recently, I have come to find out the soothing benefits of tea. Tea with chamomile and lavender can be so soothing and allow you to relax, when you need it the most. I personally drink [amazon_textlink asin=’B000VDUMIG’ text=’Celestial Seasonings Honey and Vanilla Chamomile Tea’ template=’ProductLink’ store=’cryscard-20′ marketplace=’US’ link_id=’0d06aaac-64e1-11e8-aa59-053ba8c39f09′], but there are so many brands and flavors of tea available.
Take a Bath
Being a mom of toddlers, I am sure you probably don’t get too much downtime alone, during the day. But, I recommend rewinding at the end of the night, when hubby is home, and taking a long, hot soothing bath – where no one bothers you.
For extra stress relief, try these [amazon_textlink asin=’B076DN4JXB’ text=’Lavender Bath Bombs’ template=’ProductLink’ store=’cryscard-20′ marketplace=’US’ link_id=’d54b21f2-64e1-11e8-97b5-f928683acdd4′].
Play with the Kids
You may not think playing with the kids would relax you, but it actually can. In fact, playing with the kids almost has the same affect as exercise does because it releases hormones that makes you feel good. Plus, who can resist your sweet toddler’s laugh.
For me, I am much happier whenever I am in a clean, uncluttered space. Whenever I feel clean I feel better knowing something in my life is not crazy. And, did you know clutter is linked to depression and stress.
Take a Ride
Finally, whenever all else fails, I find a small car ride really does the trick. Not only can I crank up the tunes and clear my head, but my kids usually fall asleep and I get some much needed “me time.”
That’s how I manage stress, I would love to hear (in the comment section) about how you manage stress!
