Have you been watching the original PureFlix series, Sons of Thunder Redemption? If you haven’t you might want to because the new show is full of drama, binge-worthy, and, best of all – about sharing God’s love.
Sons of Thunder Redemption Episode 1, Finding Sandy
After watching Sons of Thunder Redemption episode 1 (Finding Sandy), I am seriously hooked on this show. The new series takes place on a ranch and follows a man named Jacob after he gets out of prison. Looking for Sandy, who we later find out is a women Jacob was supposed to marry but instead showed up high and cheated on her at the wedding. Jacob begs for her forgiveness only to get the cold shoulder.
So after finding out the ranch that Sandy is working on – which is right along the southern border is in desperate need of help, Jacob takes a job to try to seek forgiveness while working on the ranch.
Of course the drama doesn’t stop there. We soon see Logan, a member of Jacob’s former Devil’s Hand motorcycle gang given orders to catch Jacob who the gang is calling a ‘Rat’ for squealing on them.
As we watch Logan leave to go find Jacob, I can only imagine what is next in store on the show. While episode 2 and 3 are already out, I have some catching up to do and may just be binging the series after this post.
While I am a little disappointed the new series doesn’t follow the same narrative as the original Sons of Thunder, I think this show is still going to be one that has a powerful message of forgiveness.
