It was right before Christmas 2015 when I got the best Christmas gift I could ever ask for, my seven-year-old English Mastiff, Mako, begin acting liking himself once again!

If you remember the post I did back then on Purina Pro Plan® BRIGHT MIND and how this food helped turn Mako back into his playful and energetic self again, you would have no doubt why I kept Mako on the Pro Plan BRIGHT MIND diet for all these months.

In case you forget what Purina Pro Plan® BRIGHT MIND dog food is all about here is a quick synopsis: At around age 7, the glucose metabolism in your dog’s brain begins to change; affecting your dog’s memory, learning, awareness and/or decision making; making it important that your dog gets the right nutrition

Purina Pro Plan® BRIGHT MIND Adult 7+®, a unique nutritional formula designed to promote alertness and mental sharpness in aging dogs 7 years and older.

Although, Purina Pro Plan® BRIGHT MIND is still available in these three unique flavors: Chicken and Rice Formula, Small Breed Formula, and Large Breed Formula; Purina Pro Plan® BRIGHT MINDS is now offering their BRIGHT MIND’s line in a wet food selection!

While I haven’t had the chance to give Mako the BRIGHT MINDS in the wet food variety, he is still loving the taste of the original dry food. Every day, I am feeding Mako an exclusive Pro Plan’s diet and am still seeing the results. Not only is Mako still more energetic and playful, but I have also noticed that he no longer growling at family members that he knew since he was a pup – this has been one of Mako’s biggest accomplishments on the Pro Plan diet. Before Mako would growl at friends and family when they came over and we would have no idea why. Now, he is calm and eagerly goes up to greet our friends and family. Even family who was beginning to get worried about Mako has remarked on his incredible change.

Lately, I have even noticed Mako’s decision-making skills improving, as well. Before starting the BRIGHT MIND’s diet, Mako would do things like, chewing on a shoe, which he knew was wrong. Now, he has been behaving more like a “good” dog and we haven’t had to yell at him for ruining shoes.

After almost four months, I believe that without Purina Pro Plan BRIGHT MINDS, Mako wouldn’t be half the dog he has turned back into.

If your best friend is beginning to decrease in energy, memory or awareness, I highly suggest checking out Purina Pro Plan BRIGHT MINDS and even buying it at a Petsmart near you.
