Sometimes it is impossible to keep track of your mail. When you start having packages coming from UPS, FedEx, and USPS, it can be hard to remember what’s coming and when.

With these simple mail tracking apps, you can keep track of all your mail and get inbox notifications, every morning, with what’s coming and when.

No more worrying about lost mail or wondering if someone may have stolen your mail.

Tell Me More!

All three major mail carriers; FedEx, UPS, and USPS offer free tracking and management services. These programs are free and help keep track of any mail that may be coming to you. These programs all work by signing up for an account then enabling email and/or text notifications.

How Do They Work?

USPS Informed Delivery

USPS Informed Delivery is fairly new, but it is my favorite! Every morning (except Sunday), I get an email notification from USPS Informed Delivery showing me pictures of any mail pieces I have coming in the mail for that day. While you should note, this does not show you the back or inside of the mail pieces, it is a great way to keep track of what’s coming for the day.

This service is completely free and there is an app, but using it is not necessary for you to keep track of your mail.

When signing up, you will have to verify your identity, but notifications can start as soon as the next day! Some perks you get by using this free service are:

  • Package Rescheduling
  • Preview Incoming Mail
  • Ability to create delivery instructions
  • Sign up for notifications to track your mail

UPS MyChoice

I have been using UPS MyChoice for what seems like forever. This service is also free and allows individuals to track their packages.

Much like USPS Informed Delivery, you have to sign up for this service, but once you do, notifications of any UPS deliveries are sent via email and/or text messages.

This service allows individuals to:

  • Track Packages
  • Reschedule Delivery
  • Set Vacation Holds
  • Change an Address for Delivery

FedEx Delivery Manager

Another free service, FedEx Delivery Manager is a lot like the other 2 services, but this one tells individuals about any mail they have coming from FedEx. This app will email you at different times of the delivery process; when a label is created, it’s out for delivery and when a package has been delivered.

While I don’t get a lot of FedEx deliveries, this service has saved me from lost packages. A few times the delivery driver delivered to someone else’s house, but because of FedEx Delivery Manager, I got notification that product was delivered, when it wasn’t.

This service allows individuals to:

  • Customize your experience for future shipments.
  • Save delivery and locating instructions for all your shipments.
  • Enter a vacation hold.
  • And much more.

I absolutely love these three services for keeping track of my mail, do you use any of these? I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions about them in the comments below.

Be sure to share this post with any one who may not have heard about these free services!
