It’s tax time again! If you’re like me, you want to make the most of your refund, so why pay someone hundreds of dollars to do what you can do for FREE?
Here is a list of all the companies that offer a place to file your taxes for free:

CreditKarma – The same company you trust to check your credit score, is now offering free software to file your taxes.
TaxAct – This site is not all free, but they do offer a simple free tax version.
TurboTax Free Edition – Again, TurboTax offers a free edition, but if you require more complicated tax forms, you may have to pay to use this service.
H&R Block Free Edition – H & R Block now offers a free tax filling service, but use caution, as only certain tax forms are free.
IRS – If you make less than $64,000 a year, the IRS will allow you to file your taxes free with their software.
FREETaxUSA – Free Tax USA is another site that offers free filing of simple forms; more complex forms will cost a $17 filing fee.
E-File – Not all versions are free, but the simple tax forms are.
TaxSlayer.com – This includes simple filing, more complex filings can cost up to $35*.
