2015 is almost officially over and, although, we are planning some pretty amazing things for 2016, I hate to see another year pass by.
This year may not have been filled with money, success or even a ton of happy memories, but it was still a year that will be hard to forget.
From watching my baby go to his first day of school to saying goodbye to loved ones, here is a look at my 2015 in review.
January, what can I say this month is way too close to Christmas to stand out. Besides getting ready and begging for February to come, I can’t think of anything special that happened in January.
February, this was the month my family had been excited for, the month we had planned for weeks, it was our Florida vacation! Although, unbeknownst at the time, we actually picked the worst week to go and ended up leaving in the middle of the worst winter storm of the year. On our ride home, after a week, we still endured lots of snow and temperatures as low as -25 degrees – but that wasn’t the worst part. When we got home, our gas heater’s pilot went out while we were gone, so we came home to a freezing house and frozen pipes! After forking out a large sum of money, we did end up catching a break and just 1 of our pipes actually burst. Safe to say, February was totally not what we were expecting.
March, this year, my husband’s and I celebrated our 6th year wedding anniversary and looked back at how fast time seems to be flying. Not only did we celebrate our time together, but we also registered my little big man for kindergarten. After lots of tear shed, my little guy assured me that he wanted to go 2015 is almost officially over and, although, we are planning some pretty amazing things for 2016, I hate to see another year pass by.
April, April is April such a busy month indeed. Besides celebrating my niece’s, sister’s and brother-in-law’s birthday, my family also celebrates all 3 our children’s birthdays. This year they turned 5, 3 and 1 years old. Instead of having a large birthday blowout, this year we opted for something a bit smaller and just did a small family gathering and lots of trips to Toys ‘R Us.
May, May is my birthday month and the month all of my husband’s hard work finally paid off and we got an all expense paid trip to Lima, Ohio for the 4-Wheel Jamboree where our truck was featured. During the course of our trip, my family was treated like VIPs and we got to experience many great things.

June, this month just kind of flew by. With trips to the mall for school shopping and adding finishing touches to the truck for July’s next truck show, this month didn’t leave much time for much else.
July, another 4-Wheel Jamboree, this one, though, in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. This 4-Wheel Jamboree was even better than the last and our family actually ended up on the local news station at 5 in the morning, got an all exclusive ride in the Might Monster Bus and met with the driver of the Raminator Monster Truck!
August, besides being my husband’s birthday, this was the month I had been dreading for months on end; this was the month my baby started kindergarten. After just his first day, my little man loved school, but it took days for this mama to finally be just, “okay” with the idea.
September, another month that wasn’t too eventful, but it was the month I officially started this blog.
October, this month was kind of bittersweet as my husband and I made the decision to sell our show truck and then purchased a brand new Subaru Forester.
November, this month my family said goodbye to a loved one and celebrated Thanksgiving for the last time with my husband’s grandfather.

December, we said our final goodbyes to my husband’s grandfather and we got our first official snow dusting of the year.

While, this year may not have been extremely eventful, it was a year my family will cherish forever. Follow me next year as I make the strive to grow this blog and become a Mompreneur!
