Freddy’s Frozen Custards & Steakburgers

Located on Vineland Avenue in Orlando near the Outlets, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is my pick for the best family-friendly place to eat in Orlando on a budget. The restaurant offers food the whole family will love at a price you will be thankful for.

Named after two of the three founder’s father, Freddy Simon, Freddy’s is the perfect place to gather around the table, enjoy good food, and feel like family.

Freddy’s has a menu that includes; mouthwatering Steakburgers, custard ice creams, delicious dogs, and everyone’s favorite sides.

McDonald’s on International Drive

Mcdonald’s on International Drive in Orlando is nothing like a McDonald’s that you probably have near your house. This McDonald’s is the World’s Largest Entertainment McDonald’s and is great for families.

Featuring McDonald’s favorites, a chef-prepared Bistro Gourmet menu, freshly baked pizza, breakfast, desserts, and hand-dipped ice cream, this McDonald’s is one you have to visit while in Orlando. Not only does this McDonald’s have unique foods, but it also has over 100 arcade games and a fun PlayPlace that your kids will love.

This McDonald’s gets busy though, so you’ll want to make sure to visit before or after lunch and dinner hours.

Cicis Buffett

For families with growing kids and a tight budget, Cicis buffet located in one of 3 International Drive locations is always a safe bet. With overflowing crowds, the pizza at these locations tends to always be fresh, hot, and ready when you are.

Cicis offers an unlimited pizza buffet that will fill any belly on a low budget and satisfy your cravings.

Chicken Guy! at Disney Springs

Chicken Guy! located at Disney Springs is a fun and unique eating experience near Orlando. Offering all-natural chicken and sauces that featuring Food Network’s, Guy Fieri’s signature flare, – Chicken Guy! offers everything chicken including; skewers, tenders, salads, and sandwiches.

While not all meals are budget-friendly, almost everything on their menu is at a price range that is affordable for large families.

Ben & Jerry’s

One of my favorite places to get a cold dessert on vacation is at Ben & Jerry’s! The iconic ice cream company that started in 1978 when Ben and Jerry scooped their first ice cream in their Burlington, Vermont shop has 5 locations in Orlando.

Offering delicious ice cream flavors, shakes, smoothies, and sundaes, Ben & Jerry’s shops have a wide array of flavors that the whole family will appreciate.

If you can’t make it to one of Ben & Jerry’s Orlando-based shops, I love picking up a pint of Ben & Jerry’s delicious flavors at the store and enjoying them back in the hotel.

Mellow Mushroom

For a more laid back meal, Mellow Mushroom on International Drive in Orlando offers delicious pizza, hoagies, calzones, salads and more.

The original place to create a hand-tossed, stone baked classic southern pizza, Mellow Mushroom offers a laid back, fun, mellow environment that is great for families.
