As a Christian, we’re not all made the same. That’s why when it comes to Bibles, I don’t use the same one as my husband. What works for him, sometimes doesn’t work for me, and that’s okay.

Thankfully, one of my favorite Bible publishers, Thomas Nelson, has both my husband and I covered with plenty of great Bible options. That’s why I always count on them to have a Bible that I love and one of their newer Bibles, is everything I have ever wanted. The Woman’s Study Bible (NIV) is not only beautiful, but it is practical too.

Designed in full color, with special notes and features appealing to a woman’s interests, highlighting woman throughout the Scripture, and capturing the unique ways Christ cares for women, this Bible truly speaks to a woman’s heart.

Offering contributions from more than 80 women from a wide variety of backgrounds, The Woman’s Study Bible remains as relevant as ever to woman today.

Whenever I received The Woman’s Study Bible, I thought it looked pretty, but, unfortunately, pretty doesn’t always mean it’s good, so I looked over it and critiqued it hard. Of course, within a few minutes of looking through the Bible, I couldn’t find anything that I hated about it.

As soon as you open this Bible, there’s a dedication page that has a place to write in your name and date you received it. Of course, this wasn’t too impressive because most Bibles have this.

But, the few pages behind this dedication page, did impress me. This Bible has a special place for women to write in special family memories, wedding details, and more. I thought these pages made the Bible more special and personal.

After these few pages, the Bible goes on to introduce you to the book and talks a little bit more about the Bible and things you should know about this book before it immediately goes into the Bible.

From there, this Bible has many essential study tools and features. In fact, almost every page in this Bible has some sort of study tool on it. I love that the study tools follow every book in this Bible and are convenient to use and really do help you understand God’s word better.

Other than all the great study tools in this Bible, I love how the text is printed in this Bible. Unlike many older Bibles, the words in this Bible are printed with enough space between them and in a size that makes it easier to read.

Towards the end of this Bible, this Bible even features an index, so readers can reference special features in the Bible.

While I personally love everything about The Woman’s Study Bible, I love that this Bible comes with the guarantee for life that Thomas Nelson offers on many of their Bibles. That means that if I register this Bible and something happens to it, it is covered – for life, so, no matter what, my daughter will end up with the most priceless gift I could ever give her when she is older, this Bible.
