My Review of This Journal
I had never heard of Colleen D. Searcy before coming across Women in the Bible, but after going through this journal, I’m officially a fan. Her teaching style is warm, insightful, and deeply engaging. She brings the stories of biblical women to life in such a relatable way that makes you feel personally connected to each one.
The journal itself is beautifully designed—the thick, high-quality pages and spiral-bound format make it perfect for study, note-taking, and reflection. It feels thoughtfully created with the reader in mind.
What stood out to me most, though, was how much I learned. Each chapter helped me discover new things about the women in the Bible—details and perspectives I had never noticed before. There’s a common misconception that God didn’t value women as much as men in the Bible, but this journal proves just the opposite. It highlights how God saw, loved, and used women in powerful ways.
I highly recommend this study to anyone wanting to grow in their faith and understanding of Scripture, especially through the lens of the women whose stories are often overlooked.
