Our Review of the NIV Beautiful Word™ Coloring Bible for Girls
Since the NIV Beautiful Word™ Coloring Bible is for girls, I decided to let my 6-year old daughter help me with this review and get a real girl’s opinion of this Bible. Though this Bible set is intended for 8-12 year old girls, my daughter has a passion for Bibles and she loves to journal and color. I consider her to be mature for her age, so having her help me with this review, seemed like the perfect idea.
What My Daughter LOVED About The Beautiful Word Coloring Bible
My daughter loved everything about this Bible. And, to be honest, there was not one thing she didn’t love about this Bible.
She loved the color of the Bible, which is more of turquoise blue. She absolutely adored the hard box that this Bible totes around in and she loved that it came with coloring pencils and 6 sheets of stickers.
Inside the Bible, she loved the beautifully journaled Bible verses on the sides of the pages and she couldn’t wait to read through them and color them.
As a mom, I personally loved the Bible verses the Beautiful Coloring Bible choose to highlight on each page throughout this Bible. You can tell that each verse, on the side, was carefully chosen so that your daughter can find encouragement, strength, faith, etc… whenever she may need it.
Final Thoughts
While I’ve mentioned the age-range on this Bible, I personally feel like this Bible would be good for older girls (&moms) too! In my opinion, this set doesn’t have anything that sways it to be only for young girls. In fact, if I didn’t have a daughter to give this set to, I would gladly keep and use the Beautiful Word for myself.
