While heading out west in August, we found ourselves passing by the Topeka Capitol Building in Kansas. As someone who loves historic architecture, I couldn’t resist asking Michael to stop for a few quick photos. Upon entering, visitors must go through a brief security checkpoint since the Topeka Capitol Building is still an active government building. After that, you can choose between a self-guided tour or a free guided tour.
Since we were short on time, we opted for the self-guided tour, which allowed us to explore at our own pace.
