Our Experience at The National Infantry Museum in Columbus, Georgia

The National Infantry Museum is probably one of the best museums my family and I have visited thus far. It does a fantastic job of honoring America’s history and the sacrifices made by our infantry soldiers, both men and women.

The museum is packed with exhibits that bring the story to life. There are movies throughout that showcase the infantry at different points in time, and there’s even a captivating short film that plays every 15 minutes in a small theater.

At one point in the museum, there is even a room where you can walk into and experience what our infantry men and women experienced in the Vietnam War. While I would not recommend this part of the museum for anyone who may have PTSD or young children, it is a really unique and realistic experience.
