These past few weeks have been so cold here in Western Maryland. We have had so many snow days, that we’ve just been hanging out inside trying to stay warm. One of my kid’s favorite drinks during the cold wintry months is hot chocolate, but with the cold and snow here, I haven’t gotten a chance to run to the store to buy more hot cocoa mix, so today I decided to improvise. I made this super easy, kid-friendly 4-ingredient pink hot chocolate.

It’s really yummy and my kids went crazy over it. My favorite thing about it is it works great for cold winter days, or even doubles as a great snack for Valentines day.

The pink color is so pretty to look at and you can add almost any variety of cute Valentines day sprinkles for an over the top Valentines day look. I went easy on the sprinkles this time, but next time I make these, I can’t wait to add more colors.

Looking for an easy Valentines day drink recipe?

This 4-ingredient pink hot chocolate is super easy to make (much like this Chunky Monkey Inspired Milkshake). There’s no need for finding pink hot chocolate packets because all you need to make this yummy drink is: milk, Nesquik Pink Powder, sprinkles, and whip cream. You can even make this drink with just 2-ingredients if you decide to opt out of using sprinkles and whipped cream.
