Inspire Bible for Kids (NLT) – Book Review
Over the years, I’ve reviewed quite a few children’s Bibles. As my kids get older, I often find myself flipping through them with a bit of nostalgia, wishing some of these had been available when my kids were younger. The Inspire Bible for Kids is one of those. It’s a thoughtfully designed, journal-style Bible that I genuinely love and would have enjoyed using with my own children.
While I don’t usually gravitate toward paperback Bibles, Inspire Bible for Kids is different. It’s clearly designed with children in mind. Instead of a typical soft paperback, it features a sturdy, cardboard-style backing that holds up well to regular use and young hands.
Inside, the Bible pairs beautifully drawn illustrations with God’s Word, thoughtfully laid out in an easy-to-read format without unnecessary distractions. This makes it simple for kids to focus on Scripture while also engaging creatively through coloring and journaling.
This Bible includes the full text of the New Living Translation and is thoughtfully designed to encourage both creativity and comprehension. The two color, wide margin layout leaves plenty of space for coloring, journaling, and reflection without overwhelming young readers. With more than 400 line art illustrations, over 300 devotional readings and trivia questions, 140 journaling prompts, and 75 memory verse prompts, it gently guides kids to interact with God’s Word in meaningful ways.
If you are looking for a children’s Bible that combines an easy-to-read translation with creative engagement, Inspire Bible for Kids NLT is a wonderful choice. It makes reading Scripture approachable, enjoyable, and something kids can truly call their own.
Inspire Bible for Kids NLT is available in a softcover paperback and retails for $39.99. While it is a paperback, it features a sturdy, cardboard-style backing that makes it durable enough for coloring, journaling, and daily use. Grab a copy today and inspire the kids in your life to explore God’s Word in a fun and meaningful way!
