Hey friend, if you’re here, it’s probably because your marriage feels broken. Like there’s almost no chance of getting it back. Maybe it feels like everything is working against you, and honestly… it would just be easier to quit than to keep trying.
I get it. It’s a hard place to be.
But here’s the truth. So many marriages go through seasons like this. You’re not alone. The real question isn’t if hard times come, it’s how we choose to respond when they do. Your marriage may feel like it’s hanging by a thread, but those vows you made are sacred. Before you walk away, it’s worth asking, are you sure you want to give up?
Michael and I have been there.

Years ago, we went through a really difficult season. He was working a stressful job as a corrections officer, and I was home all day with three kids under five. We were both exhausted in different ways. He would come home and escape into his Xbox just to decompress, and I was overwhelmed, begging for help and feeling unseen.
This wasn’t the life we imagined.
Neither of us expected marriage to feel that hard. But that’s the reality. Life isn’t all sunshine and easy moments. Sometimes it’s messy, exhausting, and even feels hopeless. But the truth is, anything good, anything lasting, takes real work.
And here’s what changed everything for us. Jesus.
When we fully surrendered our lives and our marriage to Him, things didn’t magically become perfect overnight. But slowly, things started to shift. He softened our hearts. He helped us see each other differently. He took all that hurt and began to rebuild something stronger than what we had before.
Your marriage can be beautiful again.
It can move beyond the pain and become something deeper and stronger, something you may not even be able to imagine right now. When Christ is at the center, He does what we can’t.
If you’re at that breaking point, start simple.
God, we need You. We can’t do this on our own. Please help our marriage.
That’s enough.
I won’t promise instant change. But if you keep seeking Him, you will begin to see change. Healing takes time, but God is faithful. What feels broken right now is not beyond repair.
God has a plan. He cares about your marriage. And He is ready to meet you right where you are.
All you have to do is seek.
And you will find.
If this spoke to you, don’t keep it to yourself. Share this with someone who may be struggling in their marriage right now. And if you’re in that place, I’d love to pray for you. Drop a comment or send me a message. You don’t have to walk through this alone.
Most importantly, take a moment today to invite God into your marriage. Even if it’s just a simple prayer, it matters more than you know.
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. — Matthew 7:7
