Happy Friday guys! Its my birthday today and I’m celebrating it by listening to Gary LeVox – the lead singer of Rascal Flatts – 1st solo album, ONE ON ONE. I have been so excited for this album’s release ever since I heard the song, The Distance, on my favorite Christian music station a few weeks ago and, guys it was so worth the wait! This album is soooo good!
Has Rascal Flatts Split Up? Why Did Gary Levox Release a Solo Album?
I’ve always been a big fan of Rascal Flatts so whenever I heard Gary Levox was releasing his own solo album, I had to know, did Rascal Flatts split up? And to answer that question, no, the group has not split up! The new ONE ON ONE album is fuses two of Gary’s biggest passions – music and faith! Gary says the following about it;
I feel like God graced us with a platform where we can not only touch people’s lives through music, but by being men of God offstage too. At those times when we are with fans that are going through something like cancer, it is so wonderful to not only sing for them but to hold their hand and pray with them. I want them to know that they have a friend in me. I’m not just some guy on the stage. I feel like Christ has put me in this position because He knew I could handle the obligation, which often means taking the time to lift someone up in prayer.”
