My Review

The ESV Illuminated Bible is easily one of the most gorgeous Bibles I have ever seen. This Bible uses a ton of gold ink and looks and feels just like a Bible that has been passed down from generation to generation. Turning through the pages, there are so many things I love about it like, all the room there is to write in the margins and the easy-to-read lettering.

One thing I especially love about this Bible is it’s beautiful artwork that is found throughout the Bible. ESV-Illuminated-Bible-Review-GIveaway The ESV Illuminated Bible is not a Bible that you’re going to want to take to church, but it is one that you will want to feature inside your house. Complete with a permanent slipcase and   smith-sewn binding, this Bible is one you can share with future generations to come.

  1. I love that it has a protective cover and that it’s got an updated look to it, my daughter would love this.

  2. Love your reviews! This looks amazing!
You mentioned that it is more of a family Bible and less of a personal, carry around/daily use Bible. Is that due to the size? How does it compare to say the regular Journaling Bible? I currently have the Reader’s Bible which I love, but I need something with verse numbers for school. Thanks!

  3. I would consider the ESV Illuminated Bible more of a family Bible because it uses a ton of gold ink, it’s big and bulky, and it looks a lot fancier than your average Bible. As far as using this Bible at school, the pages do offer more room for journaling, but a lot of pages also have artwork on the sides, so you can’t take notes on them pages. Hope that helps, good luck finding your perfect Bible!
