Our Time at Scallywags Pirate Adventures
One of the best things about taking the Scallywags Pirate Family Fun Cruise is the experience. Not only is fun for the whole family, but it’s a great way to make memories during your trip to Erie.
When we first arrived at Scallywags, we arrived a half-hour before it was time for the boat to leave. This gave us time to check-in inside the boat tours building and to check out some pirate-themed accessories that Scallywags offers for purchase.
On the pirate ship, things got started pretty fast with a fun pirate-themed story of an evil Captain Skull. Once the story ended, though, the evil Captain Skull came back, ready for his treasure. As he steals the treasure map, the pirate ship sets out to gain it back.
During the course of the adventure, the kids got to have a fun water battle with the evil Captain Skull. Though they got a bit wet, the boat’s cannons were probably the best part of the adventure for them.
Other than the many fun water battles, the kids also got to compete with the other kids on the boat for fun prizes. Before our adventure ended, each of the kids even got their own pirate-themed face paintings and at the end, they all took home a small pirate treasure.
We had so much fun on the Scallywags Pirate Adventures Family Fun Cruise that I recommend doing it out on your next visit to Erie.
The cruise does leave a few times a day, so be sure to check out their website for cruise times and more.
