Can you guys believe it? We made it to another year!
Hello 2023! And here’s to making it the BEST, most SUCCESSFUL year yet! This year, I’ve really reflected on my life, my family, and God and have decided to focus more on getting the important things done and less on those annoying little time-suckers that I find myself spending way too much time on throughout the year… sorry Instagram + TikTok! – I can’t be the only person who finds themselves on these social media platforms scrolling through hours of pointless videos, am I?
While I’m a firm believer that you can create a new beginning any time of the year, the new year is always a great start. There’s 365 days to make a change and become the person you want to be.
And while I cannot wait for you to share your New Year’s resolutions with me (in the comments), today I wanted to share my top resolutions with you all. I can’t wait to tell you all of them, so let’s get going…
My 2023 New Year’s Resolutions

Read the Bible DAILY + Have a Better Devotional Life
One thing I realized last year, is I need a way better devotional life AND I need to make time to read my Bible every single day. The Bible is so revuleant to everything happening today and instead of spending my spare time on my phone doing random nothings, I want to make a point to begin a new habit and focus on the Bible more.
I’ve even purchased a few devotionals to help me with my devotional life including:
- A World of Wonders: Daily Devotional
- A Cloud of Witnesses: Daily Devotional
- Revelation Verse-by-Verse: Daily Devotional (I’m super excited for this one!)
& if you want to try any of them I can offer you 10% off your purchase just use code: M5V6QQF1BC
Declutter
I’m not sure if you realize this but the more stuff you have the more you spend your life cleaning, rearranging, and wasting your life on that stuff. Life is too short for that! That’s why 2023 is going to be the year, I begin a minimalist lifestyle. No more clutter! No more buying pointless things because they are on clearance!
This year I am focusing on living and less on stuff. Who’s with me?
Spend More Time on My Businesses
One thing that I struggle with is time. Between helping Michael with evangelistic meetings, homeschooling, and life, I sometimes have to neglect my businesses. This year, even if it means waking up early, I am going to spend more time on my businesses and help them grow.
Meaning, I want to post more on this blog + begin selling more new items on Poshmark.
Get Healthier + Exercise More
If this last year has taught me anything, it’s that just because you call yourself a vegetarian, doesn’t mean you’re healthy. You can be a completely unhealthy vegetarian and I believe, Michael and I were those people.
This year, I am reevaluating my lifestyle and diet and going to work harder at becoming truly healthy. I am striving to hit 10k steps a day and find a diet that works for my body + work hard on cutting down the sugars.
So, those are all my resolutions for the new year, I would love to hear yours in the comments!
