An Overview of The Biggest Story Bible for Kids

The Biggest Story Bible for Kids is an illustrated ESV Bible designed for children ages 6–12 who are ready for a Bible of their own. It includes the full text of the ESV and is created to help young readers understand Scripture within the context of God’s plan of redemption.

Each book of the Bible begins with a colorful three-page introduction that provides a summary, timeline, author information, character profiles, and helpful background details. Throughout the Bible, 104 key Bible stories are highlighted directly in the text. At the conclusion of each highlighted story, “Digging Deeper” sections encourage children to learn, reflect, discover, and pray about what they’ve read.

One of the things I love most about The Biggest Story Bible for Kids is how engaging it is for children. My 11-year-old daughter was immediately drawn to the illustrations and the three-page book introductions, and we spent time together exploring the “Digging Deeper” sections. She enjoyed reading the highlighted stories and using the sidebars to learn more about the characters and events. It has been wonderful to see her connect the stories to God’s larger plan, ask thoughtful questions, and reflect on how the passages relate to her own life. Having a Bible that supports both independent reading and meaningful family discussions has made our devotions more interactive and enjoyable.
