What is The Biggest Story Curriculum?
The Biggest Story Curriculum is based on the bestselling Biggest Story Bible Storybook by pastor Kevin DeYoung. It incorporates print and digital features to teach children the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.
With 104 Old and New Testament Scripture lessons for kindergarten through fifth grade, the curriculum set provides 2 or more years of teaching material that will help children understand God’s plan to redeem the world through his Son, Jesus.
What is Included in The Biggest Story Curriculum Boxed Set?
The Biggest Story Curriculum comes in a convenient 6-story boxed set that includes 5 volumes of lesson planning and 1 volume for coloring pages and activities.

The Biggest Story Curriculum Review
With school about to start in the Carder household, I tend to get a bit excited over new curriculums. When I received The Big Story Curriculum, I couldn’t wait to open it and check it out. This curriculum looks and feels so nice. It’s colorful and includes plenty of lesson plans to make learning the Bible fun for kids.
Each lesson is laid out in an easy-to-follow lesson format that includes everything you need to teach children about a particular story in the Bible. Every lesson plan includes “Teach the Story” and “Gospel Connection” sections, discussion questions, and activity and craft options, along with downloadable materials. There are so many resources for each lesson, that I personally love how it caters to different types of learners.
Along with the great lesson plans, this curriculum incorporates a lot of the Bible. At the beginning of every lesson, it will give you a Bible chapter/verse to read and it has children pray for God’s help to understand the passage. For me, this was probably one of my favorite things about this curriculum. Instead of focusing on someone else’s words, it actually encourages children to build a relationship with God in prayer and in the Bible.
If you’re wondering if we have a favorite book in The Biggest Story Curriculum set, we do! It’s the Coloring & Activity book. For obvious reasons, the kids loved this book and all the fun activities inside. While I don’t let them color inside the book, the book is easy enough for me to make copies of so each of the kids can do the activities.
The Biggest Story Curriculum is such an amazing curriculum and I am so happy I found it!
