Major Update to Panera Bread’s coffee and tea subscription as of 4/26!
Panera Bread just announced NEW drink options and I’m actually quite excited!
You can now get sodas, iced Agave Lemonade, Passion Papaya Green tea, and NEW Charged Lemonades! This is so exciting and I am seriously looking forward to trying some of the new drink offers. If you haven’t already signed up for Panera Bread’s drink subscription, the company is still offering a free 3-month trial so you can get free drinks* (subject to terms & conditions) until July!
Maybe you’ve read some of my previous reviews on Panera Bread’s coffee and tea subscription program and you want to find out if it’s worth it. But if this is your first time here, I’m seriously going to have you thinking. The Panera Bread Unlimited Coffee and Tea Subscription has gone through some substantial changes since the first time we tried it. And, I have to say, I rather impressed with it. But first let me tell you some things you need to know about it before you subscribe.
What is the Panera Bread Unlimited Coffee & Tea Subscription
If this is your first time here and you’re wondering what is the Panera Bread Unlimited Coffee & Tea Subscription let me tell you a little bit about it before I get into my next review of it. The Panera Bread Unlimited Sip Club gives you unlimited hot coffee and tea and iced coffee and tea. And while the names says unlimited, it’s unlimited in the fact that you can get a new beverage every 2 hours or unlimited refills while you’re inside of Panera Bread.
It sounds like a great deal, but let me explain why I’m making a new review, yet again. The program has changed. The options have changed and the service has changed.
How to Get a FREE 3-Month Subscription to Panera Bread’s Unlimited Sip Club
You have to watch the Panera Bread app because they often offer free 3-month trials to their unlimited coffee and tea program. This is my third time that Panera Bread has offered me a free 3-month subscription to their unlimited coffee & tea program and I’m always a sucker for ‘free’.
When signing up for the Panera Bread subscription program, you will need to use a credit card on the app, but don’t worry, I’ve personally never had an issue with being charged as long as I canceled before the trial was up.
What’s Changed With Panera Bread’s Unlimited Coffee Program?
I don’t know why companies create something really amazing only to change it up a bazillion times. Sometimes keeping things the same isn’t a bad thing. But let me tell you, this time Panera Bread has changed their unlimited sip program and it’s actually for the better.
Our first trial with Panera Bread’s Unlimited Coffee subscription program was really good. I mean the coffee and tea didn’t always taste good, but it was good. I Probably would have continued the subscription program too, had every thing stayed the same.
Then we tried a free trial again, and it was disappointing. BUT this time around, it’s literally the best it has EVER been! Panera Bread has now introduced drink options other than just coffee and tea. You can now enjoy unlimited sips of their NEW Plant-based drinks and sodas. This is a great addition for those who don’t drink coffees and teas all day, but want to feel like they are still getting a deal by signing up for the unlimited sip program.
These new drinks are delicious BUT, it does seem that some Panera Breads have a problem keeping them filled up throughout the day. I have gone on numerous occasions where the new drinks were sold out, so that is one downfall to these new options. BUT I still think the program has gotten tremendously better.
I do want to mention one downfall to this program now is that it’s not fast. The rapid pick-up option where your drink was brought to you via curbside is no longer available unless you spend $5. You have to walk inside to get your drink. If you don’t think that sounds bad, here’s the kicker – you have to make your own drinks!
While I understand there are staffing shortages, having to make your own drinks can really be a time drainer. If you’re in a hurry, you’re better off to get your drink somewhere else because I guarantee you will be inside for at least 10 or more minutes.
My Updated Review of the Unlimited Sip Club from Panera Bread
Panera bread’s Unlimited Sip Club is probably the best it has ever been. With the introduction of the new summer refreshers, teas, and sodas to the menu, I would highly recommend signing up for it. If you live near a Panera Bread or pass one frequently, the $8.99 monthly price point is relatively cheap and inexpensive.
While there are a few cons to this program that I mentioned above, I believe the pros outweigh the cons. Especially considering most refresher drinks can cost an upwards of $5 at most shops.

Do you not have drive thru locations?
Yes we do but on the app, it only gives us the option to walk inside.
